I’m Olivia Bennett. And if you’re reading this, I already like you.
Because it probably means you love food, or at least want to make peace with your kitchen.
I wasn’t always a confident cook.
Growing up in a small Oregon town, the kitchen was where life happened, not always glamorous but full of love. I remember my grandmother’s banana bread cooling on the counter, my mom turning leftovers into magic, and Sunday mornings flipping pancakes with my dad.
But then life sped up.
College, a full-time job, a tiny apartment in the city… and suddenly I was eating more frozen dinners than I care to admit. I’d scroll through recipes that looked beautiful but felt totally out of reach. Too many steps. Too many ingredients. Not enough time or energy.
So I started small.
Scrambled eggs. Toasted sandwiches. Pasta with whatever I had in the fridge. Slowly, I found rhythm in the chaos — little tricks that saved time, shortcuts that didn’t compromise flavor, and simple meals that made me feel human after a long day..
That’s when FasterRecipe was born.
Not from a fancy culinary school. But from my couch, late at night, with a laptop in one hand and a spatula in the other. I wanted to build a space that’s friendly, forgiving, and full of food that just… works.
Meals that are fast, but still full of soul.
Recipes that feel doable, even when your brain is fried and the sink is already full.
Today, my kitchen is still small. But it’s my sanctuary.
I test every recipe myself, often with jazz playing in the background and coffee getting cold on the counter. I cook for friends, for neighbors, for myself.
And then I share what worked – and what didn’t – so you don’t have to guess.
My mission isn’t to impress. It’s to make cooking feel better, simpler, and more human.
Whether you’re brand new, totally burned out, or just tired of bland meals, I’m here to help.
So come on in.
Grab a mug. Poke around.
I’ll be here: testing, tweaking, and cheering you on from the other side of the screen.
Let’s cook something fast, comforting, and truly worth savoring.
